The OLFA 185B features an exceptionally thin 0.2 mm snap-off blade, allowing for finer and more controlled scoring than a standard utility knife. When forming the hinge of a Flap Card, the thinner blade creates a narrower crease, helping the joint remain cleaner and less visible.

Its slim blade is also ideal for detailed card cutting, trimming, and other precision work where an ordinary utility knife may leave a wider or rougher line.

The included demonstration video compares the OLFA 185B with a standard knife, clearly showing the difference in the width and appearance of the scored hinge.
